Spurs Keldon Johnson plays Santa Claus in spreading cheer, gifts to West Side

A “Big Body” was in a Santa Claus suit handing out gifts to kids Tuesday on the West Side, but this Jolly Old St. Nick didn’t have a pot belly.
For more than an hour at Cassiano Homes, the Spurs’ Keldon Johnson brought cheer to an aging housing project, where about 60 percent of households are in poverty.
“It’s a blessing to be here, a blessing to help families and see their reaction,” Johnson said while taking a break from handing out gifts and Spurs tickets to 15 families.
