Opportunity Home Launches First Little Free Library

Opportunity Home San Antonio launched its first Little Free Library on the city’s Southwest side at Homestead Apartments, 5800 Medina Base Rd., on Dec. 6.
Little Free Library is a non-profit organization that reaches more than 150,000 locations worldwide to help expand literacy and spark passion amongst readers.
Our organization is aiming to place additional libraries across its Public Housing and Beacon Communities portfolios in the future.
“Little Free Library is an extraordinary concept that I am excited the organization has joined,” said Brandee Perez, Opportunity Home Chief Operating Officer. “I am confident the books families will have access to will spark their imagination and their passion for reading.”
