Opportunity Home San Antonio names new CEO

The Opportunity Home San Antonio has decided who will fill its top leadership position.
The Opportunity Home board of commissioners on Thursday named Ed Hinojosa Jr., previously interim president and CEO, to fill the role permanently after a six-month national search. He succeeds David Nisivoccia, who departed the agency in January to serve as executive director of the Denver Housing Authority.
Hinojosa will focus on increasing the public housing stock in the city and change the agency’s approach to treat housing as a human right, according to a news release.
