Opportunity Home San Antonio, in partnership with Journeyman Group, broke ground Sept. 16 on Summit at Crownridge, a new 299-unit housing community representing a nearly $63 million investment on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.

Located at 19302 Babcock Rd., Summit at Crownridge will expand housing options near The University of Texas at San Antonio, The Rim, The Shops at La Cantera, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Crownridge Canyon Park, placing future residents near major employment, education, retail and recreation destinations.

“Expanding the supply of affordable housing in San Antonio means looking across the entire city for opportunities to create quality homes in locations that connect people to jobs, education and the services they rely on,” said Lorraine Robles, Opportunity Home chief real estate and development officer. “For the people who will eventually call Summit at Crownridge home, that access can shape everything from the daily commute to the opportunities available to their families.”
