Aaron Elizondo

Director of Philanthropy

Aaron Elizondo serves as Director of Philanthropy for Opportunity Home, where he oversees the Opportunity Home Community Fund, Inc., the organization’s 501(c)(3) supporting expanded impact and resident-centered initiatives.

He joined Opportunity Home in October 2022 as Manager of Policy and Operations Support and was promoted in January 2025 to Interim Operations Support Advisor, where he led and supported the transition of the Office of Operations Support.

Prior to Opportunity Home, Aaron served as Development and Alumni Relations Director for the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council. He spent seven years as a nonprofit executive with the organization, serving councils in both North Carolina and Texas. 

Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

A native of San Antonio, Aaron is actively engaged in the community as a member of the Central Catholic Alumni Association, Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation, Alamo Kiwanis, and the Eagle Scout Alumni Association. He was also appointed to the SAWS Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, representing City Council District 7.
