Miranda Castro leads both the Asset Management Department and Beacon Communities at Opportunity Home as the Chief Asset Management Officer. She has dedicated her 20-plus-year career to affordable housing management. In her current role, she oversees more than 14,000 units consisting primarily of LIHTC and layered funding such as HUD, HTF and HOME.
Miranda oversees all department operations for both the Partnership and Beacon portfolios including planning and directing all aspects of the organization’s asset management and property management policies, objectives and initiatives inclusive of all financial and operational oversight, physical asset and capital planning.
She also leads the assets through post 15-year exit, refinances and restructure as well as property acquisitions and dispositions.
