Exploring Compassion Through the Lived Experiences of Public Housing Residents

Residents who utilize the organization’s housing assistance programs participated in a panel discussion during DreamWeek, sharing how compassion has helped them navigate through their unique experiences and challenges as housing participants.

DreamHour Speaker Series

Dr. Jeneise Briggs, director of equity, diversity and inclusion, led a discussion with San Antonio community leaders on compassion being an organizational core value and the impact it has on residents who utilize our services as part of DreamWeek San Antonio’s DreamHour Speaker Series.

Advancing Equity in the Housing Sector

San Antonio community leaders came together for a panel discussion on the intersectionality of housing justice, identity and representation, sparking equity in our community.

Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Workgroup

A cross functional action team composed of employees from all departments across the organization established in September 2022. The workgroup works collaboratively on processes, policies, performance evaluations and other aspects of EDI work that requires a unified approach and decision making.
