Hinojosa has not only explored new avenues for increasing the availability of more affordable housing, but has played a key role in the organization’s rebranding. Previously known as the San Antonio Housing Authority, the organization changed its name to Opportunity Home San Antonio to underscore their commitment to creating a community of opportunities for all residents who call San Antonio home, regardless of income levels.
With this rebranding, Hinojosa is also implementing training programs to ensure that Opportunity Home team members are focused on the core values of compassion, equity and excellence while helping clients to find the most optimal housing solutions and services to meet their needs.
In addition to his leadership role at Opportunity Home, Mr. Hinojosa serves on boards for HAI Group, a national insurance company for the affordable housing industry, and Credit Human, a financial institution committed to enhancing the well-being of the communities they serve.
