Opportunity Home San Antonio received three National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) Awards of Excellence on March 21 for the development and design of two affordable housing communities during a conference in Washington, D.C.
The organization received two community revitalization awards for its development of the Majestic Ranch Apartments and the Garcia Urban Street Farm stand in addition to a Project Design award for its work on Majestic Ranch.
“These awards exemplify our commitment to creating sustainable environments that individuals and families thrive in,” said Opportunity Home President and CEO Ed Hinojosa, Jr. “This is just the beginning in terms of projects we have planned in the future.”
National Awards of Excellence are awarded to member agencies who showcase innovative programs with those selected being featured during the NAHRO Summer Conference.
