Teresa Menendez Myers serves as Senior Advisor at Opportunity Home, where she provides strategic counsel on initiatives that advance the organization’s mission and strengthen relationships with community partners and civic leaders.
Previously, Teresa was the Senior Advisor to Mayor Ron Nirenberg and served as Chief of Staff in the office of District 5 Councilwoman Shirley Gonzalez.
Notably, she led the city’s effort to pass its first-ever $150 million housing bond and headed the HUD initiative that made San Antonio the first city in the country to achieve its House America goal by providing housing for 1,500 individuals experiencing homelessness.
