Teresa Menendez Myers serves as the Chief of Staff, leading organizational initiatives, intergovernmental affairs, communications, legislative planning, and community relations. She drives public support for our programs and serves as an ombudsperson. Teresa also oversees the Government and Community Affairs Department.
Previously, Teresa was the Senior Advisor to Mayor Ron Nirenberg and served as Chief of Staff in the office of District 5 Councilwoman Shirley Gonzalez. Notably, she led the city’s effort to pass its first-ever $150 million housing bond and headed the HUD initiative that made San Antonio the first city in the country to achieve its House America goal by providing housing for 1,500 individuals experiencing homelessness.
