Ignacio Perez has more than 20 years of experience in capacity building, resource development and community engagement serving as a community and economic development consultant for numerous entities. In addition to his appointment to serve on the Opportunity Home Board of Commissioners, Perez has served on the Community Development Advisory Committee for the City of San Antonio and South Texas Business Fund.
Perez holds degrees from the College of Santa Fe and St. Mary’s University, as well as completed certifications and training programs from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), NeighborWorks and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), among others.
